A first look at the One UI Watch, which will also appear on other watches this fall.Samsung's next Galaxy watch is announced at Unpacked this summer, and its new operating system and interface, co-developed with Google,
is called the One UI Watch. The SLOTXO news came on Monday at Samsung's virtual event at Mobile World Congress this year. But so far Samsung has only shown the software interface. The actual design of the watch remains unknown, although recent possible design leaks suggest that it will be similar to
the more minimal design of the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 (and possibly referred to as the Galaxy Watch 4). Google and Samsung announced a partnership to redesign the future Google Wear Watch earlier this year, and the Samsung Galaxy Watch will be the first device to run the software. M
watches with the new One UI Watch software are expected to arrive later this year, including Fossil. The One UI promises to connect more instantly to a paired phone and connect to more basic phone settings, just like the Apple Watch. Compatible apps must download to the phone and cross-load instantly on the watch.
